This Privacy Policy explains how Union Distribution s.r.o. (“Union Distribution”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit uniondistribution.eu (the “Website”) or contact us through it. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Czech data protection law.

We only collect the personal data necessary for the purposes described below.

Data you give us directly

  • Contact form: name, email address, phone number, company name, and the content of your message.

Data collected automatically

We do not knowingly collect special categories of data (health, religion, political opinions, etc.) through the Website.

4. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf (as data processors) under a data processing agreement, including:

  • Our hosting provider — Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany (data stays within the EU);
  • Our email/SMTP provider used for business correspondence;
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC), for website analytics.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. International data transfers

Where a service provider is located outside the European Economic Area (e.g. Google, headquartered in the US), we rely on recognised safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries: for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up, and afterwards for up to 3 years to allow for further correspondence, unless a longer period is required by law.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings of the analytics tool used (typically 2–14 months for Google Analytics, depending on configuration).
  • Accounting records: for the period required by Czech law (generally up to 10 years for tax-relevant documents).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), where applicable;
  • Restrict or object to processing;
  • Data portability, where technically feasible;
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), or the supervisory authority of your own EU country of residence.

8. Is providing your data mandatory?

Providing your contact details through our contact form is voluntary but necessary if you want us to respond to your enquiry. Analytics cookies are not required to use the Website — you can block or delete them at any time through your browser settings (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

This Website is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
