Independent Expertise Confirms the Quality of Blaupunkt QD-MiniLED

The Blaupunkt 65MCG8000S has successfully completed a rigorous independent testing programme at Bureau Veritas AET France – providing an external assessment of quality, performance and long-term reliability.

For Blaupunkt, independent testing is about more than a certificate or a technical report. It is an opportunity to put our product through demanding real-world-oriented evaluation and receive an objective assessment from an external expert laboratory.

Why independent testing matters

The testing was conducted over two months at AET France, part of the Bureau Veritas Group.

Bureau Veritas is a global testing, inspection and certification group with roots dating back to 1828. Its Consumer Products Services division provides testing and assessment for a wide range of consumer products, including electrical and electronic products. AET France, founded in 2010, joined Bureau Veritas in 2021, bringing specialised expertise in product development, performance, user experience and durability testing.

For us, this makes the assessment particularly valuable: the MCG8000S was evaluated independently, outside our own development and quality-control process.

Strong results across key benchmarks

• The Blaupunkt 65MCG8000S received the top “Really Good” rating (5/5) for its ergonomic remote control, tactile feedback and native Google Assistant integration.
• The TV also received a “Good” rating (4/5) for image quality, including the deep blacks delivered by QD-MiniLED technology, as well as for its sound performance with a built-in subwoofer.

The testing also covered aspects that are especially important for everyday long-term use:

• Thermal dissipation – efficient heat management during operation.
• Life test – 500 hours of continuous operation at 230V with no degradation in picture or sound quality.

These results give our partners an additional, independently assessed reference point when presenting the Blaupunkt QD-MiniLED range to customers.
