At this year’s IFA, the Blaupunkt brand proved that 100 years of tradition can be combined with a modern approach to technology and design.
A stroll through the booth confirmed that the manufacturer doesn’t intend to limit itself to classic televisions. The German brand offers a complete portfolio of solutions for home, travel, and business. The devices address the needs of modern consumers who expect flexibility and offerings tailored to their lifestyles.
Mini LED in various sizes
From the very entrance, the flagship 100-inch Mini LED 100MCG8000S television, presented as a showcase for the brand’s capabilities, captured the attention. The UHD resolution screen with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support offered incredible image depth and contrast thanks to 1,600 local dimming zones. Importantly, Blaupunkt focused not only on image quality – the powerful built-in subwoofer clearly stood out from the competition, delivering sound that could rival a separate audio system.
Another strong highlight was the gaming line, particularly the Mini LED MBG7000. VRR, FreeSync, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision IQ support, combined with a 144Hz refresh rate, made the television ideal for dynamic games and sports broadcasts. Live, it was clear that smooth motion and contrast are not just specifications, but real-world quality that makes a difference.
Screens for business and vacation
The stand also featured a wide range of solutions for business and education. The 85- and 98-inch interactive panels, perfect for large business or educational presentations, were particularly popular. Their intuitive operation and extensive integration with Smart Home systems and mobile devices were impressive. Blaupunkt also offered more unusual products. A compact 12V television powered by a car cigarette lighter socket was a curiosity that brought smiles to visitors. It’s clear that the brand recognizes changes in consumer lifestyles and offers solutions not only for the living room but also for vacation adventures. The Outdoor TV presented had a similar appeal, designed for outdoor meetings.
It’s also worth noting the presence of new-generation projectors – compact yet highly efficient. Combined with OTT 4K boxes and a Mini Box with Google TV, they created an alternative multimedia center that will be appreciated by both home cinema enthusiasts and professionals.

Ready for any market
During conversations with the brand’s representatives, the pride in its German heritage and consistently built presence in Europe was palpable. Blaupunkt currently operates in 42 countries, and its offerings are tailored to the needs of individual markets – from Google TV to Tizen or WebOS, depending on consumer expectations. This approach was appreciated by distributors and business partners at IFA.
The atmosphere at the Blaupunkt booth was exceptionally open. Visitors had the opportunity not only to see but also to test most of the devices. Conversations with customers and business partners confirmed that the brand is in tune with current trends: compactness, mobility, versatility, and integration with other devices.
A legend with plans for the future
The Blaupunkt brand has much more to offer than just its over 100-year history. Its current product line, from Mini LED TVs and projectors to mobile solutions, sets the direction for development in the coming years. It’s an example of a brand that understands that it’s not just the specifications of its devices that matter, but also how they fit into our daily lives and lifestyles. Everyone who visited its stand was convinced of this.
